Rising Leaders, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization designed to empower young ladies to reach their fullest potential. We are dedicated to changing the mindset of this generation so that when life challenges arise, they will have the tools needed to be resilient and persevere through solving those problems. We strive to educate, motivate, and equip each young lady to reach for their dreams by removing doubt and breaking through barriers. Through Rising Leaders, Inc. our young ladies will become better leaders for their communities and better women for society.

Marcie Thomas, President/CEO
As a graduate of Prairie View A&M University, Marcie Thomas, educator and counselor, views success as an effort of everyone working together for a common purpose. She understands the importance of breaking generational curses and believes that your current situation does not have to dictate your final destination. Mrs. Thomas focuses on inspiring and teaching others resiliency, self-motivation, and successful habits that will benefit them in life. As a mentor and counselor, Mrs. Thomas strives daily to educate young people on the power of making good choices because the impact can be significant. Mrs. Thomas has been featured several times in Mansfield Now Magazine, created and sponsored an all-girls organization entitled S.H.A.D.E.S., and she is the founder of Level Up Girls Empowerment Conference which has impacted over 200 girls ages 11-14.
